This probably has more to do with taste and my age, but I thought the first book had more of an interesting story; especially towards the end. A riveting utopian novel that’s expertly crafted. Der Schreibstil ist packend und trotzdem einfach kindgerecht. There are also a few human survivors, a human city, and several groups of aliens living on the planet.

Sep 14, Brooke rated it liked it Shelves: Adding to the quality of the book, each chapter has a two page illustration by the books author Tony DiTerlizzi. We see he’s kind of a preoccupied jerk, and then we get to go right back to ‘ohmygosh yes yes I want a hero for wondla explore Orbona in an airship! Though of course this thought could be a result of the series doing what series do, leaving unanswered questions for future books.
Das Buch hat dadurch einen hohen Lerngehalt, der allerdings unterschwellig vermittelt wird. This really deserves a lot more attention. And as much as I will always enjoy found family dynamics, I particularly appreciate it here given the target audience.

I must admit I was not the happiest of campers going back into this world. He has the best lines, and he has a gentle grace about him. Ein wenig ist es als ob man im ersten Band den Baumstamm kennengelernt hat, in diesem Band a hero for wondla die gesamte Baumkrone erobert.

I really like this world and this series. That counts for something somewhere, doesn’t a hero for wondla
